I ordered this fan/light and hung it in my kitchen. Something is wrong with this article. 1.) The remote control I received with the fan is different from the one pictured. NBD except that it only works halfway. The light is not dimmed and without the remote control function it is impossible to dim this light. When I press the button to dim the brightness, the fan beeps but doesn't dim or brighten. Nothing happens except the beep. The color temperature button on the remote control doesn't work either. I press it and it does nothing but beep like a dimmer button. The only way to change the color of the light is to quickly turn it off and back on to get the color you want, or press the light on/off button on the remote control. The fan buttons on the remote work fine, so I don't know why the other buttons don't work. 2.) The color temperature of the light will NOT stay where it was last set, even if you follow the manufacturer's instructions to wait 5-10 minutes after turning it back on. Every time I turn on the light, the default LED color is "cold" - my least favorite option. So every time I turn the light on I have to quickly turn the light off and back on three times to get a neutral color. 3.) I contacted the manufacturer who completely ignored my issue (I basically sent them the issues I list here) and told me to just wait 5-10 minutes to turn on the light to get the last color Keeping it even though I had already told them that didn't work. They completely ignored the remote button issues. It took them almost a week to get an answer to my question which they didn't even answer. I will be returning this item and looking for something else that works as advertised. Too bad because I want it to work properly. It's big and has a decent light. I just won't pay $150 for something that doesn't work properly.
