My comments on this monitor

The same product is offered by other vendors in different colors at very different prices. Note that with the expensive item you also get a 120VAC-9VDC power adapter for this product, as well as a very rare RS232 to USB converter. None of that is in the Supco product, so the price is low. A serial to USB converter cable is rare as the serial port on the monitor is not a standard 9 pin serial plug or connector but a connector similar to the audio port on your cell phone. phone or other device. You can certainly find an inexpensive 120VAC/9VDC wall transformer and if the output plug is not a necessary 3.5/1.3mm center plus plug then a converter can simply be purchased or the output plug replaced. I suspect the best way to get an RS232/USB converter that will work with this monitor is to buy this cable from one of the other vendors of this monitor for $70 plus shipping. Luckily I'm not interested in data logging. Relative humidity calibration can only be performed with 33% and/or 75% salts. If you have a sling psychrometer and thus have a very good idea of what relative humidity is, it doesn't help. The alarm clock cannot be switched off. If you don't need an alarm, all you can do is set the threshold very high so it doesn't go off. It comes with a CO2 limit of 1000ppm. Of course, I examined the device closely, put in the batteries, turned it on, looked closely at the dial, and as soon as the 30-second warm-up period was over, it started squeaking. The CO2 was over 1000ppm because I was close to my breath. But I love it and for the money I am very happy with this Supco product.
