The door to our apartment has a fairly powerful automatic door closer. Most of the time this is great but sometimes I like to keep it open like when I bring groceries. That helps a lot. It is strong enough to be held with a door closer, but easily removed to close the door. The assembly is a bit tricky as it is quite difficult to pull the disk out of the wall part. I ended up using needle nose pliers. When assembling, alignment is an issue and the instructions don't really say how to do it properly. What I did was a test fit and then I lined up the door piece roughly where I thought it should be, then placed the wall piece against the wall when assembled and drew a circle around it with a pencil. This has the perfect mount so the two pieces line up perfectly.
