This newer type of ICP has a much larger flare than the OEM standard and seals with an inner ring, but due to the size of the flare it is almost too large. especially when the gasket is in place the valve covers are a bit off center like mine. I had to take a small flathead screwdriver and hold the gasket out of the way to tighten the connector. The other issue is that the pins are a bit smaller, I upgraded the pigtail before this purchase and the pin pigtail has a little more clearance so I had to use this pigtail to get it working because it brakes too much or a big bump in the road could send a loss of communication and a drop in performance while driving (safe mode in the ECU). Wrench indicator will light up and CEL will activate.
