I don't know what went wrong with me! Great set, bought back in summer and used for hair cutting shortly after purchase. Both shears were sharp and easy to use, and the pointed comb made it easy to separate hair for trimming! I considered it a 5 star purchase. Fast forward to last week - I didn't need to cut my hair until recently and suddenly the scissors won't work? My hair was dried and straightened for cutting just like last time. The set was securely zipped up in my drawer so nothing could damage the scissors. I've tried cutting at different angles, tried switching hands (because I'm left-handed and was wondering if I cut it with my right hand last time), tried cutting with just the tip of the scissors cutting and cutting with the whole blade and I couldn't find any reason why the scissors wouldn't work - but they didn't! At a loss and after a long trial, I even used a knife sharpener and still didn't roll the dice. My husband pulled out the plain looking little year old scissors that came with his hair cutting kit and voila - cut my hair with ease. I want to love this set as it worked great the first time but I am disappointed and frustrated. What happened after that is not known!
