I usually wear average clothes but when it comes to sweaters I like it a little loose and comfortable. I read that if you want it a little looser I should order two sizes up so I did and ordered XL. I could go with a large and that would be way oversized. For reference, I'm 5ft 7in, about 140lbs, and athletic build. But in general there are no complaints. I really like this item, it's perfect to wear with leggings as a plus size sweater and it's really good quality. It's slightly thinner than a sweatshirt material, but still warm and cozy. I highly recommend.
