Doesn't hold up for an active kid

We got this case for my son's phone. He is a Type I Diabetic, and uses the phone for his diabetic devices. He has a CGM (continuous glucose monitor) and an insulin pump. The phone acts as a receiver for his CGM, and transmits data for the CGM and the insulin pump, to allow me to monitor his blood glucose levels when I'm not with him.The cover for the power button broke first. Which also caused a tear in the plastic screen protector. That happened in the first month. Then, as the case and screen protector both had breaks, the side with the buttons has broken more and more. And, it offered Zero protection the 1 time that I dropped it. I was putting it back in his belt, slipped, and dropped it onto some towels I was about to wash. The screen cracked. Yes, I dropped the phone, and it hit on the upper corner. But it didn't hit the ground directly. It landed on a towel, on the ground. And the screen was toast. Spiderweb cracking across the entire screen. Now, his phone is kept in a runners belt around his waist. Along with his insulin pump. He does not take the phone out, unless he is charging it. It is not used as anything other than a diabetic device monitor. No games. No calling or texting. As I said, he keeps it with his insulin pump. The insulin pump has never taken damage, and it is in and out of his belt constantly throughout the day. Yet this supposedly rugged case has offered no real protection. Between the case breaking, and the phone taking physical clamage, this case just doesn’t live up to its advertisement.Bottom line. This case is not rugged. It doesn't protect the phone. It breaks easily. Exactly what you do NOT want in a phone case.
