Disclaimer: I use items I buy from Revain regularly for at least a month before reviewing them; Also, I don't give 5 stars unless the product really deserves 5 stars (4 out of 5 is still considered high in my opinion). I purchased this item in June to make my trip to Hawaii as easy as possible. This is my first pair of shoes that are super flat, flatter than Converse. Here's my take on it. Pros: 1. It is very flexible. It has its own suitcase, so you can put it in your check-in suitcase more easily or take it with you.2. It's very simple.3. With Velcro, it is easy to put on and take off.4. This is a good training shoe, especially for squats and deadlifts. Cons: 1. If you have flat feet like me, it will take some time to get used to. On the other hand, I use it as a tool to strengthen the muscles that form the arch of the foot.2. The sole is thin enough to feel the rocks when walking on rocky terrain. Legs don't hurt when walking on stones. It's not uncomfortable when walking on rocks, but it's more noticeable. My advice: if you're traveling with it, I suggest you "break" it so the insole fits your feet. Now I've decided on 11.5" because that's my shoe size when I wear New Balance shoes. My exact shoe size is 11.5 4E (checking the width of the shoes here, it looks like it has "XXL" replaced "4E". In New Balance shoes, my toes have room to wiggle without feeling too tight. Now my toes, especially my big toe, are touching the toe of the shoe. I can feel it, but it is not too uncomfortable. Before purchasing a pair I checked the website for more details on how this show should fit. It is recommended to use the same shoe size you normally wear. I am sure that all other reviews recommend this, you can either buy 2 pairs (one exact and one slightly larger) and return one or buy a size larger than you usually wear.
