Good and bad! - Baby care

Unfortunately, I'm not thrilled yet. As with most subjects, there are positive and negative thoughts. You just have to decide what prevails. I have just received my thermometer which arrived a day later than originally stated. It didn't come with two type A batteries, which are required for it to work, but I don't remember if the item description said if they were included or not. It's not a big deal, but it's always nice when they come up with an item so you don't have to see if you have it. i like the size It is very light and fits my hand well. Even if it seems cheaply made. This means that I would be very afraid that if I dropped it, it would fall apart. It is made of plastic and fits together perfectly. No jagged edges or excess plastic hanging off edges or elsewhere. But it just seems that everything falls apart when you drop it. I will certainly not try and see. This is just my opinion and observation. The release button is easy to press and looks well made. The screen is easy to see and read. The mode, memory, and Fahrenheit/Celsius buttons seem to work properly and are well done. It is very easy to understand and use. The battery cover looks cheap and I can see it breaking easily. It is easy to understand and see how the batteries should be placed. My downside is that it doesn't seem accurate at all. Maybe the calibration went wrong or something. I know I'm using it correctly, but my temperature isn't as low as it says. It also changes when I use it on the same person and place. I haven't decided yet if I'm going to send it back or find out how wrong the calibration is by using a different temperature device and just adding as many degrees every time I use it. When it starts to work better I'll come back and change my review, but for now I'd suggest spending a little more and trying to get a better one.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Poor instructions
