I highly recommend it for dogs and kids! In my opinion, this is unbeatable at this price. I bought this for my dog and great dogs to play with and they weigh 45 to 85 pounds and it has held up. It slips easily as they go crazy, running through the tunnel and jumping in and out of the hole like dogs with 400 cue balls. But this is a testament to how well the tech is holding up, as there isn't a single scratch on it. I bought 400 balls and that's not even enough for a quarter. It folds up fairly easily and is very small to take with you or store separately. I'm sure little kids will love it, especially with the castle and how big it really is.
