Don't get me wrong, it works as advertised. There are no complaints. I have an e-bike, so a lot is happening on the handlebars. I didn't want the rearview mirrors to look like the insect antennae on my e-bike handlebars or dangling from the handlebars, so I went for something more minimalistic. Then why 3 stars? Quality .. it's just not there. Didn't expect better quality but for $35 for plastic and pc mirror. I think it will survive a fall. After a fall, when the body of the e-bike took most of the impact, the lid with the mirror shifted. Also, the item tends to move towards the end of the handle, so you should always check that it moves securely in place. It has good resistance to movement if you find a good angle. In general this is a good product. I just think it could be built a bit better. If you're like me and like to keep things minimal, this is a good alternative.
