Review on ๐Ÿพ XSY&G Dog Boots: Waterproof Dog Shoes with Reflective Anti-Slip Sole - Skid-Proof Outdoor Dog Booties for Medium Dogs (4-Pack) by Mary Medema

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Seems to be well made and mostly stays on our dog's feet.

After our Jack Russell/Corgi cross got glass in his foot I ordered several sets of dog boots from different brands to find ones he could wear and protect his toes. Those were the winners. The double velcro straps on each boot definitely help them stay on better than the single strap options, although I wish the part of the velcro where the boot straps attach was a bit wider; Sometimes it takes me a few tries to make sure I'm leaving enough room for both straps to fit snugly. I reckon they're comfortable enough for him because he stopped rolling halfway to try and mouth them off after about the fourth time, and they don't seem to have much of an effect on his brisk gait, though the strange one still stumbles over his strangely big feet from time to time. He still manages to "throw his shoe" on a walk every now and then, but that's coincidence, unless our little Ogie is a lot smarter than he looks. The boots feel good, the stitching doesn't show any glue like a very similar set from another brand, and the materials feel durable so hopefully they'll last a long time. However, they are definitely not very breathable, which would be desirable in the current hot summer weather. If I take them off even after a short walk, I can feel the trapped warmth, but since he tolerates them fairly well, I think it's not unbearable for him, and in cold weather it will be a plus. If they were offered in a hot weather version with ventilated body material I would definitely buy them for the summer.
