I bought this hard drive just over a month ago and it was immediately apparent that the cable has a tendency to fall out of the USB port. After the loose cable fell out of the port a couple of times and didn't eject properly, the entire hard drive just stopped working. I've been trying to fix this for hours to no avail. I've followed all the troubleshooting guides I could find on the Seagate website and nothing helped. If you google this problem you will find tons of people with the same problem. The light comes on, the drive spins and heats up a bit so you know it's on, it just won't mount anymore. I got this specifically to make my Macbook last longer so I can get through the COVID-19 quarantine and this thing I paid $70 for has now caused me to lose my livelihood. I want my money back and my files back.
