Review on Dorman 697 709 Differential Cover by Zack Frazier

The powder coat finish is nice and smooth but having just applied it I can't comment on how durable it is. The cap looks as good or even better than the one I replaced which was badly corroded. Inside was a magnet to catch small metal particles so I didn't have to change the old one. Installation was very easy coupled with the new Lube Locker gasket. No more scratching the RTV, definitely the longest part of the install was removing the old cap and RTV. I hope this holds up against corrosion and dings and will be upgraded in the future.
