Leaves a lot to be desired
Their main purpose is to protect hands from heat. you fail. When you put a pan in the oven and then slide it over the handle to pull it out, the heat travels right through it. Not exactly scalding, but inconvenient to hold longer than it takes to bring the pan to the surface from the oven. I don't have sensitive hands but can't say hold the pan to avoid this when using these. Don't get them or have low expectations.
