I ordered this lightweight notepad to easily copy many of my watercolor paintings. I can quickly trace my master sketch or just draw a base layer on top of my master sketch without actually painting on watercolor paper. My daughter also uses it for school when tracing maps. This is also useful for free handwriting as I can use lined paper and write on it. I like that it has three levels of brightness, making it usable in a variety of lighting conditions. Also, the cord is nice and long so I don't have to sit next to an outlet or use an extension cord.
