I bought a set of 8 and tried Sekka short grain rice in a small pot and it cooked around the same time as my electric rice cooker. I want my rice; I used a large pot to make beef bone soup and it came out just as good as my previous, more expensive pot; I then used the pan to make gourmet fried rice and again the cook time and fried rice was exceptional! So here's my experience with this cookware (CookLover) with square handles on the lid: Functionality: distributes heat evenly so food cooks at just the right time Adaptability: can be used in electric, gas and induction appliances Features: I love the jar lids are visible by cooking whole food without lifting the lid; I like the firm/safe grip of the square handles on the lid, I don't need oven mitts/rubber for the handles; The color supplied is neutral which gives the kitchen board/cabinets a nice and clean look. WEIGHT: light and easy to lift / stand up Healthy cooking: for health lovers, oil is hardly needed, they are non-stick CLEAN: not only visually, but easy to clean / wash after use PRICE: PRICE!
