I bought a lot of toys and chewing gum for my rats. I've never seen her more excited in my entire life. They were crazy about them! Hanging toys are attached with metal so they can chew and play whatever they want without tearing them up. Also, they're way better than those colored gumballs because they always left color all over the place. A ball of yarn is great for stuffing nuts and watching them try to pull them out. The only thing I don't like is that there are bells in some toys and I don't want to stay up all night because of the noise. However, I managed to remove the bell from one of them. I won't let them do anything else. In general, this is the best toy for pet rats.
