Our Carrier air conditioner came with a reusable metal filter but over the years it has become somewhat worn. I also wanted spare parts so I can clean the filters in cycles. I reviewed similar filters at local air conditioning stores and couldn't believe the price. I tried them. They work just as well, if not better than our originals. Fits perfectly, slides in and out of the system very well. Holds as much dust as the original. Easy to clean. The only negative I could think of was when the 2 filters arrived they were glued together. It took me a little time to peel the clear tape off each filter, but I was eventually able to remove it.
