Bought these shoes for my son who runs cross country. These are athletic compression shorts, not just underwear. My son is about 5 feet and 75 pounds. I bought him a Youth Medium. Tight but not uncomfortable. They seemed to offer support while running without chafing. Good for running or other exercise and would buy again.
