My daughter is 3.5 years old. She is 38 inches tall and weighs 29 pounds. She wears 3T in clothes as she is also skinny. I bought a size 6-8 black swimsuit. The swimsuit is very loose and very loose in the shoulders. She will be able to wear it for at least 3 years. I should have bought size 4-6. I keep it to myself, I hope it shrinks in the wash. The quality is excellent. This is a thick, stretchy material (not swimwear material). I am impressed! Follow the size chart. That is true and correct.
