Good buy but very small.

The quality looks pretty good. Thicker fabric, nice looking stitching etc. I like that it has a longer neckline around the legs so it actually has more coverage and stays PU as you move. However, I bought an in-between size (6-8) for my 5 year old (who fits in the 50th percentile for sizes) and this swimsuit only *barely* fits. I don't expect it to last long. The cutouts for legs and arms are also very comfortable. Good buy but you need to go up a size!

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance

  • No

Order one size up: Dance

I liked the quality of the swimsuit material - nice and thick (light pink, lined). However, one of the leg holes was definitely smaller than the other, and overall the fit was VERY snug. My daughter is 3 1/4, 40 lbs, 39 inches (she is in the highest percentile of the two) and we bought one for a size 4-6 (her typical size is 4/5T). I think the next size up will probably be too big, but this one was definitely too small. Returned due to hole in leg.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Dimensions are wide!

Twice I ordered the wrong size because half the colors are small to large and the other have size numbers that don't make sense from the size chart. The size chart indicates size 6-8 is medium, then 10-12 is large. But then the numbered size is 8-10? Ridiculous. So I order 8-10 for my 7 year old and she can't even squeeze in. I think I'm done with these tights. I would like to only buy from a company that can size things right.

Pros
  • Hard wearing finish
Cons

Fits sportswear as advertised

My daughter is 3.5 years old. She is 38 inches tall and weighs 29 pounds. She wears 3T in clothes as she is also skinny. I bought a size 6-8 black swimsuit. The swimsuit is very loose and very loose in the shoulders. She will be able to wear it for at least 3 years. I should have bought size 4-6. I keep it to myself, I hope it shrinks in the wash. The quality is excellent. This is a thick, stretchy material (not swimwear material). I am impressed! Follow the size chart. That is true and…

Small size, swimsuit material

I'm very glad I ordered. I am a 36 inch, 30 lb, slim but not skinny for almost 2 years, who started ballet on Saturday. I'm glad I read the reviews as the apparent consensus is that this swimsuit runs small. I ordered 4-6 not 2T-4T. To compare sizes, I've attached a picture of a wrap tunic for 12-18 months (designed to simply cover her buttocks). I can tell this will be perfect for her for the next year or so. As for the material, it's very similar to a swimsuit, which I didn't expect, but I…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Expensive

My daughter really likes these. The only reason I rate them up to 4 stars is because of the silly size. My daughter is 7 years old and wears a size 8 (although I occasionally buy her a size 10 which is quite large for her). 12-14 close. I mean pretty tight, not just neat. For a 12-14, getting stopped by her is crazy. She's still wearing it, just tugging further at the bottom hem (if you know what I mean), but I highly recommend ordering a size or two larger than you think your child should be…

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • So-so

NOT expected color

The swimsuit I bought according to the picture is NOT the one I received. The color is nice but we are waiting for a reply from our dance studio whether this color is allowed or just the color shown on the picture in the listing. Here are two different swimsuits that I bought because the bottom one (on the left) said it wouldn't arrive on time but came quickly (it's a different brand, Mirella). The one I got from THIS list is on the right (top). It looks more like sky blue than classic light…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
