I have a silicone case for the back and side of my phone so I don't even have to take it off. I just tuck everything in, pull the tab on the right to "lock" the buttons, and you're done. Installation couldn't be easier, no tools required. Only 3 screws. One is for attaching the two pieces that come with the kit (as well as for tightening/adjusting the angle of your phone), one for tightening the piece that goes around the handlebars and one for fitting the grips to your phone. SO glad I didn't buy one of Revain's millions of phone holders. Already bought a second one for our other bike.
