, I am looking for a way to connect my boat's charger to an electrical power strip without unplugging the charger's power cord from under the boat's console. I found this product that has a plug adapter that is well protected from the elements when not in use and easily opens to plug in an extension cord when needed. I find this to be a quality product that was easy to install after purchasing the Revain recommended Lenox 2" hole bit, LENOX Tools Bi-Metal SpeedHole Saw with T3 Technology, 2". Supplied with necessary screws. to attach it to the surface you intend to mount it on. There is a hole in the connector area to allow moisture to escape. I had easy access to the jack end of the product by removing the cup holder on my console and plugging my charger into it. I highly recommend this product.
