The topper came in a small box as it was compressed and vacuum packed. It was easy to open. . . It is recommended to put it on the bad side and then peel off the cellophane cover to let it grow to its normal size. After removing the packaging, it has reached its full size within 1 hour. It didn't smell. . . We both did a smell test and found nothing. Nice plus. We slept on it last night and it was really nice. It's made of 3lb high-density gel foam, so it takes a bit more weight to compress. This ensures you don't drown in it like you can with less dense gel foam pads. However, there were no manufacturer specs, brochures, or labels in the box, which I found odd, so I emailed the support team. .The next day I received a reply with information about the guarantee. Unfortunately, in order to obtain a replacement within three (3) years, the topper is limited to covering defects described as permanent body stains or dents that are 25% or more of the height of the original product. Therefore, the topper must have a "hole in the body" of 0.5 inch or more. It's a pretty deep hole! We slept on the topper for three (3) nights and I find it very comfortable with no setbacks for both of us. We both don't have any problems with pressure points and we don't twist and turn. We love it!
