I bought the 10 inch rounds to use in the microwave oven, just to protect the glass plate so I don't have clean it as often! It works great. I put a fresh one in each day. It does tend to dry out or become stiff or wrinkly, so you do need to replace it daily just to be safe. But to help keep the glass platter clean, it works great. And it comes in a very nice sturdy envelope style package with a slotted flap to keep it closed. I keep it leaning up next to the microwave, and pull a fresh one out each day. The 12 inch rounds (actual 11.5 I think it says) might even be a better fit for the platter, but I haven't tried that size yet.
