If you can change a lightbulb, you can! Make sure the power is off! Adjust the setting according to the size of the vessel to be replaced. Unscrew the built-in bulb, take out the bulb held by the spring wire, screw in the adapter, connect the bulb/lantern and insert the spring wires into the grooves. I watched videos on YouTube so I really got what to do. These lights are so bright and clear. They look great in my renovated bathroom. No more brass fittings giving off tons of heat and a dull yellow glow! Very happy with this purchase!
