Last week we noticed that our dog had a nasty cut on his throat. We cleaned it up and attributed it to rough dog play. Although, frankly, it didn't make sense at the time. Today I noticed that the scab opened up again and the entire area of skin under the collar buckle was completely sore (about the size of a few silver dollars). i felt so bad that you left it to him after you first met him. I took it off and threw it straight into the trash. We've worn it for five months and the pink trim on the buckle has almost completely worn off. I think this resulted in sharp edges cutting it. I've never had that with a collar. Please don't put this on your dog.
