My daughter wears a size 6 or smaller for almost everything. The top is a shirt on the stomach. Even with her arms at her sides, her belly button and inches of her stomach are visible. The skirt is a little wide at the waist. It's very cute and she got it for Halloween. But the lace can fit for 2-3 years. My daughter is 4 years old and she is too small. The sign is made out of cheap foam. It's a cute set and she will love playing with it, but wish it was true to size. We hope the $15 sword we bought separately is a better accessory than the shield and lasso. (rubies)
