Fragile plastic, oddly long teeth.
I have long healthy hair and prefer usually clips hot claw roller to metal holders. Not this one. Fragile plastic. you will break And the teeth interlock, making it difficult to untangle with one hand while styling. What I really liked was the nylon pouch, which currently serves as a clip holder but has a future in laundry!
