For the most part, installation was fairly easy. I found the included plastic clips difficult to use. I kept breaking them trying to drive a nail in. Anyway, I had a box of 1/2 inch plastic clips from Walmart. I paid €1.98 for a pack of 25. It took me a minute to find my grove, I kept staples close to the side of the tree and my nail kept bending making it difficult to hammer. a full roll and that's what I needed for my particular project so I didn't have to cut anything! They are bright but not super bright. When I hung them up I noticed that the bottom part closest to the fork kept popping in and out, but once I nailed it down and secured it stayed up with no issues. I also have lamps connected to a remote control extension that allows for easy on/off switching. I had round boards for outdoor lighting, I didn't like the uneven light. I could never get them to hang properly so I sent them back thinking I'd try these instead. Overall I am happy with the purchase and how they turned out. I really think the "atmosphere" is better with lightbulb chains than with fairy lights... Just my personal opinion 😉💡
