Ideal for filling up cars. I didn't time it, but I was able to fill up the car almost as fast as I could pour it from my 5 gallon gas tank. Much quicker than filling the car from the petrol tank. Even faster than the No-Spill 1450 5 Gallon Poly Gas Can, which is a pretty good gas bottle. At first I thought it would be too fragile for one person to fill the car with gas. I placed the funnel in the car, gently closed the gas door on the car, and then operated the 5 gallon gas tank with both hands. No problem in terms of worrying about the funnel falling out of the gas tube. Filled up the car on time with a 5 gallon can. 3 minutes and 15 seconds Order 2 more for my other cars.
