Surf fishing off the Washington coast. I weigh 235-250 pounds and it has enough room for a tall person. My wife is 130 pounds and wears a one size fits all. The left front pocket is good for bait and a small but useful work platform. Right front suitable for 3x6 cases plus pliers. I use the top right pocket for ready kits and a small whistle. The top pocket has a snap-lock nylon loop for holding the top bar while you work. To the bottom 2" nylon waist straps I attached a rod holder cut from a rod holder with a tip I cut off. My wife wanted this vest as she is not a good swimmer and was afraid the surf would pull her underwater We are completely satisfied with the safety of the vest We are satisfied with the vest as a work platform for surfing, along with waders, a 10- Foot rod and a Penn 3000 Battle II reel.
