I bought this for a calf sleeve, after reading the reviews on here. Happy to report that it worked really well for just shy of 3 hours. About 2 hours before my appointment,I lathered it on thick, using a little over half of the 4.38oz jar for one side of my calf. I wrapped it with cling wrap and taped it and let it stay on until the last possible moment. My artist started tattooing me about 5 minutes after I unwrapped and cleaned up and it was great - almost zero pain.If you're getting a 2-3 hour tattoo, this stuff should cover you for almost the entire time. Its not perfect for big tats like mine but definitely takes the edge off. I'll be using it again for my next session.
