I am a former tracheostomy patient. This made it difficult for me to travel more than an hour or two from home, for example, as I had to use the suction machine several times a day. I checked the prices for portable vacuums and they were either hand pumped or battery powered and cost around $800. I felt so limited and then my son asked why I didn't just get this inverter. I was shocked at how cheap it was and thought it might be worth a try. As soon as I got it, I put my car in the car and connected it to the inverter and then to the cigarette lighter. PERFECT! It worked with the same ease and power as when plugged in and now I can travel again. So happy my son suggested this. Of course, it has many other uses and can even be used for laptops, phones, etc. It's also very well made and comes with a drawstring material pouch for you to store it in when not in use.
