Review on Enhance Your Gaming Experience with ViewSonic XG270: 1920X1080P, 240Hz, Anti-Glare, and Improved Ergonomics by Shane Saric

The XG240R was worth it! :D

Like --------- Very smooth gaming experience thanks to 144Hz and Freesync/g-sync compatibility. - Offers many settings in the monitor settings. The ready-made setting profiles were helpful and well calibrated - the monitor positioning is very flexible, since the monitor stand can be swiveled, tilted and adjusted in height. - Vivid colors after using a pre-made profile and making some adjustments to the option. (not bad for TN!) - no ghosting and very responsive. - clear image! not blurry - finally there is RGB! If RGB isn't needed I'd recommend using the XG2402 as it's pretty much the same monitor but with a red stripe. However, RGB makes the monitor more aesthetically pleasing to me. Dislikes----------- The monitor stand is slightly larger than I expected. It might just be me as I use a small desk and have used a 21 inch monitor in the past. The stand measures approximately 12 x 6.5 x 17 inches (L x W x H). - Color accuracy compared to the IPS panel. While I like the "bright colors" I feel this monitor still doesn't look as color accurate compared to an ips panel, having owned and used a 60hz ips monitor for years. BUT the color accuracy on this monitor is not bad and on a tn imo panel it is very good! Overview ------------------ The XG240R offers everything a gaming monitor needs: 144Hz, G-Sync/Freesync compatibility, flexible monitor setup, both monitor settings and Positioning and color are great for TN. I was a bit hesitant to buy this monitor at first as this monitor is not that long ago and I don't have many reviews but after a week of using the monitor I really like it and I would recommend this monitor to all gamers or anyone who it would like to recommend play on it! Luckily there were no dead pixels on my monitor and after a week they stopped appearing. Even though I had a 60Hz ips monitor back then, I still love the colors on this monitor. The IPS panel is even more accurate in color rendering, but the TN panel is still very good! Overall I really like this monitor and would highly recommend people to check out this monitor. If there are problems later, I
