I've had this product for about a month. I bought two of these and both came with no dead pixels. However, one of the monitors failed for reasons that customer support could not resolve. The problem was that the monitor couldn't change any of the display settings (view modes). The customer support team even asked me to try their ELITE display controller software to try changing the display settings. ELITE display controller software download is not recognized by Windows 10 as a trusted source, so you really need to force Windows to install the program. Once installed, you can only control one monitor at a time, so you must: Step 1) Disconnect the second monitor from the GPU, and then change the settings of the still connected monitor. Step 2) Disconnect the first monitor and then connect the second one and then change its settings. Step 3) Plug in the first monitor and hope the settings stay the same. This is a really terrible program. How do you ignore people with 2 monitors? This is a very common use case of @ViewSonic's software development team. Not to mention that the ELITE display controller app actually does what you can already do with the OSD options, it just makes them run faster than you have to use the monitor toggle button. So not really impressed with their software. At best, it makes managing the RGB settings much easier and faster, and is probably required to do something special with the RGB settings. After about 2 weeks of troubleshooting by customer service and no solution to my problem, he is now sending me a new monitor. I had to do a $370 credit card authorization for ViewSonic to ship the monitor to me "in good faith" so I could return the faulty monitor I have. Once they receive the faulty monitor, they issue a $370.00 authorization. The original link they sent me for credit card authorization didn't work and I had to contact them again to fix it. It's been a few days since I completed my credit card authorization and I'm still waiting for the tracking number that says ViewSonic sent me a new monitor. Overall the monitor (the one with no issues) performs great, looks great and really delivers a bright and clear 165Hz display. I would give this 5 stars if the second monitor had no issues and their ELITE display controller software wasn't rubbish (which you really need to control RGB effects as OSB control would be very difficult for custom settings ). I might as well give this 5 stars if customer service gave faster responses/service. In my opinion, they could definitely get a little quicker when it comes to customer service.
