We bought two tubs for our main tub. These things look very clean and feel heavy and well made. The lines twist inside the unit and only need hand tightening as they have o-rings. Put them on before installing them on the sink and everything will be easy. I had one of them clogged in the hot water line when I first turned it on. I think something inside the valve has shifted since it's over 30 years old. I had to unplug the hot water line and turn on the water at the faucet by moving the lever from cold to warm to flush the hot water line with the pan underneath. Once the water started to flow well I turned the line back on and turned on the hot water and it flowed properly through the faucet.
