A relatively new refilled black H/P 65 DeskJet cartridge. The cartridge was still printing before being refilled, but was beginning to fade a bit, indicating it was low on ink. I printed a test page after refilling and everything was fine. The cartridge functioned normally for a few pages. A few days later the cartridge was clogged. How he got dirty; It printed well at the beginning of the page, but ran out of ink toward the end of the print cycle. I had to clean the nozzles and pour ink (very slowly) into the cartridge, but since the cartridge had been filled earlier, there wasn't much ink left. And again, everything was fine for a few printed pages, but then the print stopped printing at or near the end of the print cycle. If the content of the printed page had a low demand for printed material, the cartridge passed it. I then tried to print a high content printed page (intentionally used a "BOLD" font that would have wasted a lot of ink) with terrible/useless results. Summary 1. The printer worked fine for a few days, then the black nozzles became clogged.2. take care of the problem; Clean the nozzles, make sure the ink runs out and everything is back to normal.3. After two or three days the nozzles were clogged again. Additional Information: The H/P Deskjet 2600 series is an inexpensive but relatively fast press. Very high ink consumption may be required for high speed operation. The ink refill date could not be found. There is a suspicion that the supplied black refill ink was not originally suitable for the fast H/P DeskJet printer, may have been mislabeled for H/P printers or the product has expired. The black ink cartridge needs to be thrown away as it is now contaminated with questionable inks/dyes and I don't know how to fix it.5. I will buy a new H/P XL (High Yield) black ink cartridge and print a report if anything unusual happens (I assume everything will be fine).
