Used them on the balcony of my apartment to hang a non-permanent lamp. It's been over a month and they're still holding on. It was the heaviest outdoor hook I could find which is why I bought it. The hook moves, which is not stated in the product description. In my photo you can see that the metal hook is not adjacent to the plastic backing. This works in my application as it really moves with the wind and isn't stiffer. If it didn't move, it would put extra stress on the plastic backing and break it more easily. If this hook can hold decorative patio ceiling lights, it can definitely hold some tongs. Just follow the pre-cleaning instructions.
