I was very skeptical about installing a wireless mesh router system as I've heard over the past few years that they've just become famous as "extenders" (and extenders don't work very well anyway) and they've always been a bit pricey for what they seem to deliver. I'm sure other mesh systems work just as well, but TP-Link (Deco) did a very good job of building this product. It was relatively inexpensive, very easy to install (the entire process of setting up a 3-node system took about an hour, including tearing down the old system and thoroughly testing the new one), with a downloadable and very well-designed application, and they instantly improved my WiFi network signal by almost an order of magnitude. With the app you can see who is on your network, you can set parental controls, view your surfing history, etc. The app allows you to monitor and control the entire network - very handy! I have a two-story house with an odd layout (only about 3000 square feet), but the three-node system covered the whole house with Wi-Fi, and that too with good speed and low ping. I had previously set up my main router and routed the signal through my house's electrical system via Ethernet jacks to another router for use in the back of the house. That was never a good decision, so I finally took the plunge and bought a mesh router. I highly recommend this product.
