Temperatures agree by 0.3° on this and my glass thermometer. It is very easy to set the desired temperature in the tank. All you have to do is press a single button on the device and change the temperature 1 degree at a time. I really like that it's black. I painted the tank black on the outside before installing it and the heater disappears seen from the front. It comes with two sticky sidewall/aquarium hooks. I decided to wall mount mine instead of the fish tank. I broke one of the suction cups when installing it on the heater. I had to apply quite a bit of pressure to get it to snap into place. I can get another sucker from lfs almost for free. So I don't really care. One connected with no problems and I'm sure it will still keep the heater in the aquarium. The only thing I could see that might be an issue is that the power cord is a bit short. Luckily for me, the power supply is on the top shelf of the stand. I have a 75g tank and when trying to reach the wall outlet halfway to the stand I couldn't get the drip loop in. The cord appears to be about 3 feet long. This might be an issue for some, but since it wasn't for me, I won't star it. I also don't take stars for a sucker because to be honest it was probably my fault. I think if you take some aquarium water and moisten it first, it can slide without any problem.
