Review on 🔳 Baldwin Estate 4751.030.CD Square Beveled Edge Single Toggle Switch Wall Plate, Polished Brass Finish, 4.5 x 2.75 inches by Jerry Amos

I bought these to replace the standard hardware store brass switch plates that had been scratched and tarnished in my apartment. (The problem with those lacquered brass switch plates is that if the brass tarnishes under the lacquer, you'll have to replace them. There's no way to polish that tarnish under the lacquer without a belt sander.) Either way, Baldwin Brass plates are heavy and good processed. My only complaint is that they are small - significantly smaller than the regular ones! So be smart (unlike me) and measure before you buy Baldwin Brass as a replacement. I installed them all and now I go around the house touching up the paint, painting over the lines, dents and stains left by the old, large switch plates that were removed from the wall. Put on the cap of patience too. Baldwin brass switch plates come with very small screws, making them difficult to align in the screw holes. (Yes, my cheap universal bolts were longer, see for yourself). Overall very good, just measure beforehand.
