
Found these in the middle of my basement renovation, wish I had found them sooner. Being an electrician myself, I'm not a licensed professional, but I've done enough over the years to be absolutely sure I won't make any critical mistakes. Once you strip the wire to the correct length and insert it, you have an extremely good connection, which I think is better than any wire nut I've used in the past. You can pull the wire back out, but that takes a lot of work and will damage the wire (and I assume the teeth are in the plug). I saw them on lanterns many years ago and never looked for them which saved a lot of time.
