Works like a charm. I chose to go this route instead of using screw cap versions of the cable connectors and I'm glad I did. The ends aren't much bigger than the large twist cap I've used in the past, but they're a heck of a lot easier to work with. I bought 100 packs so it will be a while before I need to buy another box but I won't hesitate to buy them again when the time is right.

Easy to use in hand tools

These things are the most elegant invention since sliced bread. Anyone who has done house wiring knows how difficult it is to connect multiple Romex household wires with nuts. After a while, the wire nuts can get lost, and then you have a mess trying to determine which junction box they came loose in. I'm not sure if they comply with electrical codes or local electrical codes, but I don't have them. Problem with using it in my own house. It's like Chinese fingers. Once you insert the wire, it…

Excellent plug, very quick to use

Found these in the middle of my basement renovation, wish I had found them sooner. Being an electrician myself, I'm not a licensed professional, but I've done enough over the years to be absolutely sure I won't make any critical mistakes. Once you strip the wire to the correct length and insert it, you have an extremely good connection, which I think is better than any wire nut I've used in the past. You can pull the wire back out, but that takes a lot of work and will damage the wire (and I…

save space, safer than wire nuts.

With wire nuts, I've found that some connections can loosen over time if the wires are bent slightly, pulled a little, or exposed to heat. This avoids all these problems. They are slightly smaller than a wire nut for 4 comparable 12g wires. Since they have a car body, you can see if the wires are fully seated. You can easily handle this if you are attached to the wires. While it's possible to twist the wires to remove them, I would plan first. Unlike loosening the wire nut and then…

Easy to use and saves time.

, I can't even describe how much I love these WAGO nuts. With the old nut driver it seemed like you were always worried that one of the wires might be loose. But with WAGO nuts, you push the wire in and you see that it's ok. They also come in handy when you have old jobs to do in a tight box. It's a lot easier to clamp a short piece of wire with needle nose pliers than tying them together and tightening the nut, hoping nothing is loose. It's nice to be able to remove one wire without disturbing

Great solution to an unknown problem!

I love stuff like this! Sure, wire nuts are cheaper and work great, but I first came across them when installing a Wink relay for my smart home. The relay came with several of these (or a version of them) and they were a lifesaver because I was using the box at the end of the line and there were loads of wire nuts and connectors in the small space. When it came time to pack everything into the gang box, it didn't fit. But when I removed some of the large wire nuts and used these instead, a lot…
