Love this item, instantly different from my stock F-150 Raptor, crisp throttle response and that howl under acceleration. A tuner is required to take full advantage of the system, but a K&N will do for a quick change in airflow. Great instructions and just the basic hand tools every man should have. Installation takes about 1 hour including pre-built capture tools. The only downsides I can see being in a desert climate is that the seal on the underside of the hood is not as tight as say a fully sealed air box. Causes the filter to be checked more frequently after startup under such conditions. Another plus is that this system cleans the engine compartment and removes unsightly plastic.
