Curt Vertical Ball Mount

Bought a ball mount for my 2008 Dodge Magnum which has a Mopar vertical mount. The ball mount follows the contours of the vehicle's rear wall well without touching the vehicle. I'll say it slides freely into the clutch, especially when you rock it left to right, but I've never had a ball joint that's really tight. You need clearance to keep your ball mount from snagging in the coupler and allow for easy installation and removal. You can always wrap tape around the connecting hose to tighten the seat. The ball mount came boxed with the other items ordered and was unwrapped to protect the finish so it has small deep nicks next to the pendant ball. Furnished. I don't care since the ball joints can break and rust anyway. You can always re-powder the mount later. The description also doesn't mention that it comes with a 5/8 inch pin that fits in the hitch. Although the pins are not expensive this was an added bonus. Overall I am very satisfied with the product. Curt Manufacturing has been around for a long time making quality towing products and know what they stand for! I will never worry about any problems with this mount! I bought a Convert-a-Ball kit to install on this ball mount so I didn't have to buy multiple mounts for different size trailer balls and it works perfectly!
