I bought it to be wall mounted (because Samsung claims it's VESA compliant). Well, that is PARTIALLY true. There are 4 holes on the back BUT. The stand they use mounts a bracket on the back of the monitor that sticks out about 3 inches so you can't wall mount it or even screw on the VESA mount. And if you want to remove that 3 inch plastic hemorrhoid, you have to DISASSEMBLE the MONITOR (check YouTube, there are some videos). Of course, this will void your warranty.
