potentially deadly! Cable DO NOT BUY looks and fits perfectly to replace my Yamaha 400 Big Bear ATV. However, when I first used it, the cable would get stuck when fully open (equivalent to pressing a car's gas pedal to the floor) and wouldn't come loose. I'm an experienced racer, so I knew I had to apply the rear brake, downshift (as far as possible with a race engine), and then shut off the engine. Most likely, a novice driver or a child died. After stopping, I removed the cable and inspected it, reconnected it, applied WD40 (didn't do it the first time and didn't have to) and inspected carefully. I checked the cable again and encountered the same problem. The cable is defective and must be disposed of. Most of them probably work fine, but not worth risking your life for a few bucks. I urge you not to buy this cable.
