Review on 💧 Wix 33255 Fuel Filter: Reliable Performance for Efficient Fuel Filtration by Aaron Lewis

I bought this for my 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 6.7L HO Cummins. I bought this filter at a relatively low price compared to the Dodge OEM filter because of Wix's excellent reputation for quality. With that in mind, buyers beware! The filter fits into the factory housing but after some research it turned out that it is only a 12 micron filter and Dodge/Cummins requires/recommends a 5 micron filter. No problems so far but I have reordered a new fuel filter and this time bought a Baldwin filter as they are made by Fleetguard and are highly rated. Not a bad filter, but due to the volatility of traditional diesel injection systems and the cost of repairing them, I do not recommend this filter given its 12 micron rating.
